Recognizing the growing demand for dependable transportation throughout Pinellas County and the surrounding Tampa Bay region, TruCare Transport was established to provide professional, people-centered service to local hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living communities, retirement communities, rehabilitation centers, and private clients. Since its launch, the company has expanded its services to include ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher transportation, helping meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers and families throughout the area.
Since 2023, TruCare has successfully completed thousands of transports while continuing to earn the trust of healthcare facilities, case managers, discharge planners, families, and private-pay clients across the region. Unlike traditional curb-to-curb transportation providers, TruCare specializes in door-through-door assistance, where trained transportation professionals personally assist clients from their residence or facility into clean, comfortable, ADA-compliant vehicles and escort them safely to their destination.

We are continuously striving to implement effective strategies for enhanced training, integrated technologies, and managerial support and communication. Because we provide local and long-distance transportation, effective planning and communication between dispatch and key facilities is paramount.
We continuously work on enhancing our scheduling and traffic management in an effort to reduce travel and wait times while increasing efficiency. We work to adapt and implement policies and procedures to support our mission, to analyze and advise on transportation issues, evaluate scheduling conflicts, negotiate and correspond with carriers, vendors, and strategic partners.
Dispatchers will receive extensive instruction on using our technological integration systems designed to support our growing scheduling and logistical demands. Dispatchers are responsible for the following:
- Customer intake
- Preparation of daily schedules and trip manifests
- Effective driver management and scheduling
- Trip management and oversight
- Coordination with facility personnel
